From your instructor, Ann is requesting that all of her students are fully vaccinated with their booster shot and that all students wear a mask when there is a group or individual consultation. She will do the same.
Class Description:
We will work in Acrylics. Creating both transparent and opaque effects. Students will learn the importance of underpainting and gesso layering under your actual painting. You will begin with 1,2, and 3-inch hog hair brushes which I will furnish. This helps to keep you loose. Washes will go over the dry gesso. As the work progresses some will be left and some wiped or let to sink into the textures, created by the gesso layers. Then the layers of heavier paint are applied and can be scratched through or leave as is. The subject will be an impression of the land because, here, the beauty of it will overwhelm you.
